MARK DEYAL: THE ELEGANT STROKEMAKER

Mark Deyal is a left-handed batter, who has been a part of the West Indies domestic set-up for a significant amount of time. Born on April 7 1993, in Trinidad, Mark’s journey in professional cricket has been around the domestic cricket of Trinidad and Tobago. He made his first class debut in 2015, which led him to being selected to play in the CPL.

Deyal made waves in the domestic circuit with his flamboyant stroke-play and a top-notch temperament. He always found that high tempo style which is considered an essence towards being a successful T20 batter. Mark found his home at the top of the order, where he takes on the game from the outset and does not allow the opposition bowlers to settle. He always makes sure he takes the pressure off his partner by taking the game on.

Apart from his batting skills, Mark is a reliable off-spinner as well. He truly is someone who brings versatility to the side and provides his captain with a lot of options. Mark has also played cricket around the world and is quite an experienced campaigner. His addition in the TKR squad is a big boost for the Knights, at the top of the order.
