MATCH CALLED OFF DUE TO RAIN | TKR VS SKNP | CPL 2023

TKR began their CPL 2023 campaign against the St.Kitts and Nevis Patriots, in St. Lucia at the Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium. This was a highly anticipated clash with superstars like Kieron Pollard, Dwyane Bravo, Andre Russell being involved. However the game had to be called off due to excessive rains.

The rain had dampened the mood right at the start when the toss was delayed due to wet outfield and the forecast wasn’t looking promising. However, things seemed to turn around quickly and the play commenced as per the scheduled time. TKR were put into bat first by SKNP, and were at 19/1 after 3 overs, when the rains started coming down heavily. Unfortunately, the rains remained quite persistent resulting in the match being called off. The Knights would be looking forward to their next game against the Saint Lucia Kings and would be hoping to turn up and perform as a group and get that first win under their belt.
