THE KNIGHTS LOOK TO CONQUER A MUST-WIN ENCOUNTER | GAW-W VS TKR-W | WCPL 2023

The Knights take on Guyana in their next game. This match marks as a must-win encounter for the TKR women as they strengthen their position to qualify for the finale. The Knights will be looking to put on a strong performance in order to clinch a win in this game. 

In their last game the Knights came out on top against the BR women as they gave an all-round performance. All the departments functioned perfectly for the TKR women as they clinched their first win of the season. Mignon du Preez was the star for the Knights as she picked up two magnificent catches and scored a whirlwind knock to help TKR post a strong total. Skipper Deandra Dottin came to the party as she played the role of anchor and batted throughout the innings while Marie Kelly took the opposition bowlers on at the top of the order. 

An all-round bowling performance ensured that the Knights defended the total to clinch the win. As they move ahead to face their next challenge, the TKR women will be gunning to take the field and would be highly motivated to clinch their second victory of the tournament and qualify for the WCPL finals for the second time in a row.
