The Knights took on the Jamaica Tallawahs at the Kensington Oval in a mid-table clash. Both teams were gunning to climb up the points table to get a foot into the top three positions. The contest turned out to be an epic one where the Knights came out victorious.

TKR were put into bat first on a tricky pitch which seemed to be two-paced and had help for the spinners. The openers stitched up a crucial 58-run partnership which set the tone of the innings for the Knights. Deyal impressed once again by adding crucial 30 runs at a quick pace. However, TKR lost 2 wickets in quick succession and put them on the backfoot. Post that, it was the skipper Polly who has been in tremendous form with the bat throughout the season along with the promising Lorcan Tucker who paved the way for the Knights towards a good total. TKR set a target of 143 for the Tallawahs.

While defending the total, the TKR bowlers started right on the mark with accurate lines and lengths to keep the JT openers in check. Dre-Russ continued to breathe fire with the ball like last game and picked up two wickets in two balls to change the complexion of the game. The momentum shifted towards TKR and the spin-duo of Waqar and Narine conquered the middle overs by picking up 4 wickets in between them. Cameos of Green and Wasim helped JT take the game till the last over. Tallawahs needed 12 off the final over, but Ali Khan kept his composure, nailed his accurate yorkers and steered the Knights towards an outstanding win. The Knights claimed their third consecutive win and jumped up into the third position in the table.
