The TKR women take on the Barbados Royals women, in a rematch of last year’s finale to commence their season of WCPL 2023. Last time around, the TKR women clinched the victory in the final to win the inaugural WCPL. They will be looking to replicate the same this year’s campaign as well.
The Knights have a squad full of experienced cricketers like Deandra Dottin, Anisa Mohammed along with talented young talented players to make a strong contingent. The TKR women will certainly start as favorites this season, and will be hoping to churn out winning performances as a unit. Some of the overseas talent like Mignon du Preez, Marie Kelly and others will look to leave their mark and make a winning impact to the side. Thus, in all likelihood, the TKR women with their squad full of versatile talent become strong contenders to lift the cup this year as well and they will be highly motivated to defend their title this season.
