A season full of rollercoaster performances and epic moments is coming to its final stage as the Knights face their last challenge against Guyana as they look to become 5-time CPL champions. A fitting finale between the two best sides of this season will be eagerly anticipated by everyone. TKR look forward to getting across their final hurdle in their quest to glory in a campaign full of strong and determined performances.
Both the finalists, TKR and Guyana are no strangers to each other, having battled thrice already this season. Even though Guyana had the wood over the Knights in the league stage, TKR clinched the all-important win in Qualifier 1 and displayed dominance. All throughout the season, the Knights have prided themselves on being a complete unit and have laid out comprehensive performances with a lot of consistency. This finale will be no exception, as TKR move ahead with a lot of confidence, composure & immense commitment to winning the title.
The TKR bowlers will be eager to execute their plans and the batters will be looking to smash the ball to all parts of the ground. Skipper Polly will be having conversations with his troops on being there for each other and backing up each other’s efforts. As this final challenge inches closer, the Knights will be motivated to go out there one last time this season and get their hands on that CPL trophy for the 5th time which will prove to be a comeback for the ages.
