
The Trinbago Knight Riders announced their squad for the upcoming Caribbean Premier League 2025. The squad formulated the retention, signed picks and draft picks completing a strong and well-rounded squad. While they have retained their biggest of stars, TKR have also signed a few dynamic T20 players alongside a few exciting picks from the draft.

With having retained some of the biggest names in Kieron Pollard, star batter Nicholas Pooran and stalwarts Andre Russell and Sunil Narine, TKR have potentially the strongest core with having global T20 superstars in their ranks.

Along with the stalwarts, TKR have made a few exciting signings in superstar T20 batters in Alex Hales and Colin Munro who bring a rich vein of experience of playing in global T20 leagues. Additionally, flamboyant pacer Muhammad Amir, who comes in to strengthen the pace bowling quartet.

Apart from the retention and the signings, TKR were also successful in picking some sensational draft picks. Joshua Da Silva, who has been a prolific wicket-keeper for the West Indies has been picked in the draft as he will strengthen the batting resources for TKR. West-Indies legend Darren Bravo also returns to the TKR squad bringing with him all his experience and will also guide the young players in the squad. Nathan Edwards, who impressed one and all in his first season at TKR also returns to the fold adding depth to the all-rounders unit.

Overall, TKR have completed a stellar squad for the upcoming season which has an excellent mix of youth and experience, with global T20 superstars and upcoming stars of West Indies cricket. With such a versatile squad, TKR commence their CPL 2025 journey on 17th August and will have their sights set on clinching their 5th CPL title.
