TKR responded with their trademark tenacity. Colin Munro sparked the chase with a whirlwind 44 off 18 balls, his aggressive intent immediately setting the tone. Kieron Pollard anchored the middle overs with a brisk 43 not out off 28 balls, keeping TKR firmly in sight of the target. Despite spirited efforts from across the batting line-up, wickets at key moments, taken by Obed McCoy (who bagged four wickets) and a tight spell from Shakib Al Hasan, stymied the chase. TKR fell just short, finishing at 159 for 6 in 20 overs, and the Falcons held on for an 8-run victory. TKR fought hard right till the end yet victory evaded them by just a small margin. They will be aiming to learn from this defeat and come back strong in the next game.
