The full squad of the Trinbago Knight Riders for CPL 2020 is all set to be led by local hero and West Indies limited-overs captain Kieron Pollard.
The Knight Riders have retained Colin Munro who has been part of their set up since the 2016 season, winning the title with them in both 2017 and 2018. Munro is one of the most successful overseas players in CPL history and this has earned him a fourth successive retention. They have also retained USA fast bowler Ali Khan who has been with the franchise since 2017 as their ICC Americas player.
They have signed New Zealand wicketkeeper Tim Seifert who has played three ODIs and 24 T20 Internationals. In his most recent international outings he scored back to back T20 fifties against India.
The Knight Riders have also secured the services of Fawad Ahmed. The Australian leg-spinner was with the Knight Riders when they won the title in 2018 and was playing for the St Lucia Zouks for the 2019 season.
Local youngster Anderson Phillip, Zimbabwean Sikandar Raza and veteran Indian spinner Pravin Tambe were picked up in the draft to complete the roster.

Venky Mysore, Director of TKR, said: “Colin Munro has been a consistent match winner for TKR & Ali Khan has been an integral part of the TKR franchise. It’s also great to welcome Fawad Ahmed back to the TKR family. Tim Seifert, a keeper/batsman from New Zealand, is an exciting talent and will no doubt entertain our fans in Trinidad & Tobago. All four of these stars will complement the strong line up of our players from Trinidad & Tobago”
